ТРОИЦЕ-СЕРГИЕВ МОНАСТЫРЬ ГЛАЗАМИ ФРАНЦУЗСКИХ ПУТЕШЕСТВЕННИКОВ XIX В.: АЛЕКСАНДР ДЮМА И ТЕОФИЛЬ ГОТЬЕ
Статья посвящена изучению поездок Александра Дюма (7-9 сентября 1858 г.) и Теофиля Готье (конец января 1859 г.) в Троице-Сергиев монастырь. Источниковую базу проведенного исследования составили путевые записки А. Дюма и Т. Готье. Были поставлены следующие исследовательские задачи: выявить особенности восприятия Троице-Сергиева монастыря А. Дюма и Т. Готье; проанализировать путевые записки А. Дюма и Т. Готье как исторический источник по истории Троице-Сергиева монастыря в конце 1850-х гг. Актуальность исследования заключается в слабой изученности данного круга вопросов и в том, что путевые записки А. Дюма и Т. Готье прежде не привлекались для решения такого рода задач. В статье показано, что путевые записки А. Дюма и Т. Готье являются важным историческим источником по истории Троице-Сергиева монастыря и его окрестностей в конце 1850-х гг. Дополняя друг друга и, в целом, ни в чем не противореча, записки А. Дюма и Т. Готье дают ценную информацию по целому ряду вопросов, включая особенности паломнического маршрута из Москвы в Троице-Сергиев монастырь, повседневность паломников и туристов в монастырской гостинице, численность монахов и другим. Кроме того, выделены особенности восприятия Троице-Сергиева монастыря А. Дюма и Т. Готье как музея, обоими авторами акценты были сделаны на описании монастырских богатств, прочных связях монастыря с российскими монархами и вельможами и важной роли монастыря в российской истории. Также в статье обозначены стилистические особенности путевых записок А. Дюма и Т. Готье.

THE TRINITY-SERGIUS MONASTERY THROUGH THE EYES OF 19TH-CENTURY FRENCH TRAVELERS: ALEXANDRE DUMA AND THÉOPHILE GAUTIER.
The article is devoted to the study of the trips of Alexandre Dumas (September 7-9, 1858) and Théophile Gautier (late January 1859) to the Trinity-Sergius Monastery. The study is based on the travel notes of A. Dumas and T. Gautier. The following research objectives were set: to identify the features of A. Dumas and T. Gautier's perception of the Trinity-Sergius Monastery; to analyze A. Dumas and T. Gautier's travel notes as a historical source on the history of the Trinity-Sergius Monastery in the late 1850s. The relevance of this research lies in the limited study of this area and the fact that A. Dumas and T. Gautier's travel notes have not previously been used to address such issues. The article shows that the travel notes of A. Dumas and T. Gautier are an important historical source on the history of the Trinity-Sergius Monastery and its surroundings in the late 1850s. Complementing each other and, in general, not contradicting each other, the notes by A. Dumas and T. Gautier provide valuable information on a number of issues, including the specifics of the pilgrimage route from Moscow to the Trinity-Sergius Monastery, the daily life of pilgrims and tourists in the monastery hotel, the number of monks, and more. In addition, the article highlights the peculiarities of A. Dumas and T. Gautier's perception of the Trinity-Sergius Monastery as a museum, with both authors emphasizing the description of the monastery's wealth, its strong ties with Russian monarchs and nobles, and its significant role in Russian history. The article also explores the stylistic features of A. Dumas and T. Gautier's travelogues.
